The Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul Services ( DCSVP Services) is committed to ensure the values of Vincent and Louise are at the core of our services today.

Our Vincentian Values are:

  • Serving people who are experiencing the effects of poverty
  • Respecting each person's dignity
  • Being compassionate and kind
  • Enabling choice and change
  • Acting in solidarity and justice

St. Vincent's Family project is one of six major projects developed by DCSVP Services

 The other major projects are:

  • Vincentian Care Plus: Also based in Westminster, it is a domiciliary care agency, which offers practical, personal care and support services, to enable older people to remain as independent as possible in their own homes.
  • Marillac Care: Provides care for adults with neurological disabilities. Its holistic care is rooted in its values, improving the quality of residents' lives by providing them with optimum independence, freedom of choice and a sense of fulfilment.
  • St Joseph's Services: Provides high quality person-centerer care and support services to adults with learning disabilities in a variety of locations in Midlothian and Edinburgh. The flexibility that they offer means people have individualised care and support plans which are tailored around their current lifestyle.
  • Out There: This charity offers a free and confidential services for the families of prisoners. Families with a member in prison are often isolate, rejected and have difficulty in finding sources of information and support at a very stressful time. Out There offers friendship and information in a compassionate and non-judgemental way.
  • The Space: The aim of The Space if for the people of Govanhill, Glasgow, to lead the flourising lives and achieve their potential in a community in which all cultures are understood and accepted. Everything The Space does is underpinned by trust.
