Include the names, positions, postal addresses and telephone numbers of Two people (not relatives) from whom references can be obtained. One must be your most recent employer/school director/support worker/volunteer co-ordinator.

Criminal Records Check.

Because of the nature of the work involved, the post for which you are applying is exempt from Section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 by virtue of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013 by SI 2013 1198) http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2013/1198/pdfs/uksi_20131198_en.pdf.) This means that you are not entitled to withhold information relating to any convictions, cautions, reprimands or final warnings you may have had unless they are “protected” under the 2013 amendment referred to above. Application forms of those who are unsuccessful will be destroyed after six months.
