Helping families Family Space One-to-one support One-to-One Support Financial Support We help those who may be experiencing particular difficulties with money, housing and welfare. As part of the range of service that SVFP offers families, in partnership with Zacchaeus 2000 Trust, we provide the opportunity for families to seek Specialised and Generalist Advice. In the midst of the current budget restrictions, more restrictive immigration legislation and housing shortage, families with multiple levels of need and deprivation require sound legal advice and support. This pilot provides just and fair access to these services and support. Key elements we provide are: Help with rent arrears, benefits and Council Tax Tribunal Representation Help with housing problems Free advice and support for vulnerable people with household debt or welfare problems One-to-one Support Emotional Support We also provide emotional, practical and parental support which is either pre-arranged or arranged organically during a drop-in or creche session. Our staff offer guidance on child development and behaviour management. This helps to support parents with any fears or difficulties regarding their children. This includes appropriate signposting to our services or other local services where necessary. Outreach We also offer direct early intervention to vulnerable families in the area who may not have access to our services. How to seek help?
