The 'Child Poverty Map' carried out by the End Child Poverty in 2012 concluded that Westminster was the borough with the fifth highest levels of children living in poverty...

St. Vincent's Family Project is essential for families living in the south of the the Westminster borough who live in the pockets of deprivation. Overcrowding and poverty are a serious problem in these southern wards. The rough extrapolation of the numbers of families, with children under five, in this southern area suffering from at least one level of deprivation is 1,136 families.

Currently, the families that have access to our services report many different problems. As SVFP provides a diverse range of services such as children's behavioural issues, relationship difficulties, mental health issues, isolation and domestic violence to name a few areas where we offer support. This is unique as no other establishment in the area provides all these services together.
